The 11th Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides will be held in Napoli, Italy, on May 24 - 27, 2008.
This Workshop, designed to provide up-to-date information and to critically discuss current trends on synthetic and conformational aspects of bioactive peptides, will focus on:
New Frontiers in the Search of Bioactive Molecules: From Peptides to Drugs
The primary aim of the Naples Workshops is to gather peptide chemists interested in the structure-activity relationships of bioactive peptides, in order to facilitate sharing information and making contacts among people who are involved in similar or contiguous research.
The scientific content of the presentations has always been cutting-edge. The research presented in each Workshop comprises examples of emerging subjects, highlighting both biologically-relevant and "man-made" peptide systems.
Attendees who participate in invited lectures and oral / poster presentations will have the option to submit their work for publication in a dedicated issue of Journal of Peptide Science; each contribution will be fast-tracked in order to be included in time for the end-December 2008 issue.
