February 7, 2010 Paul Cordopatis [Edited by George Pairas]

Dear Peptide Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have the pleasure to invite you to join the 7th Hellenic Forum on Bioactive Peptides in Patras, Greece in May 2010.

The Forum will be held on Sunday 16 & Monday 17 of May 2010 at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, under the ægis of the European Peptide Society, the University of Patras, the Leonidas Zervas Foundation and the Hellenic Peptide Society.

Like its predecessors, the 7th Forum will provide an unrivalled opportunity for researchers to disseminate their work and to promote already established research collaboration with other groups working on related disciplines. At the same time, participants of different backgrounds will have the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and discuss the latest developments of Peptide Science.

Patras, the host city of the University, is the capital of Achaia Province at the northwestern edge of Peloponnesus with a quarter million inhabitants. Located 200 km west of Athens is in close proximity to some of the most famous centers of Greek antiquity such as Ancient Olympia, Delphi, Epidaurus and Mycenae.

The Forum will comprise lectures delivered by both Greek and foreign invited speakers and poster contributions. Official language of the Forum is english. During the Opening Session the 2nd Dimitrios Theodoropoulos Memorial Lecture Award will be granted (details on the Ballot Results by the National Representatives of EPS will be soon posted here & at the EPS website).

You can check the important dates and  find full details on the Forum at: www.hellenicpeptides.gr.
