5th International Peptide Symposium & 47th Japanese Peptide Symposium

March 4, 2010 George Pairas

An Invitation by the Organisers

It is a great pleasure and honor to host the 5th International Peptide Symposium, in conjunction with the 47th Japanese Peptide Symposium, to be held in Kyoto, Japan from December 4th to 9th, 2010. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Liaison Committee of international peptide societies, and hosted by the Japanese Peptide Society.

The Symposium will cover the wide spectrum of topics related to peptide sciences. Internationally distinguished speakers will be invited to present results of their innovative research.

The history of the International Peptide Symposium (IPS) goes back to 1997, when its first conference was held in Kyoto. The 2nd IPS was held in San Diego, U.S.A. (2001), followed by the 3rd IPS in Prague, Czech (2004), and the 4th IPS in Cairns, Australia (2007). This will be the second time for the IPS to be held in Kyoto.

Since 1997, the IPS has offered wonderful occasions to the growing number of participants from around the world. We hope you will join us in the 5th IPS to exchange the latest scientific information while renewing old friendships and establishing new ones.

We look forward to seeing you at the 5th IPS,

Yoshiaki Kiso, Chair
Nobutaka Fujii, Co-Chair
