The 12th edition of the Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides will be held as a joint meeting together with the 2nd Italy-Korea Symposium on Antimicrobial Peptides, in Napoli on 4-7 June, 2010. The general theme of the joint meetings will be "Peptides at Work: from Structure to Applications".  Read more in the enclosed invitation by Professor E. Last September in Helsinki the Executive Committee of the EPS decided, in collaboration with John Wiley & Sons Ltd., to renovate the webpage of the Society. The EPS Secretary Professor Alex Eberle in collaboration with Martin Rothlisberger, Wiley’s Executive Commissioning Editor, have undertaken the task to re-engineer the website, adding new characteristics and functionality. 

This Special Issue of the Journal of Peptide Science is dedicated to selected contributions from the First Italy-Korea Symposium on Antimicrobial Peptides, held at the Chosun University, Gwangju, Republic of Korea, on July 24-25, 2008. The symposium brought together about 150 participants.
