Congratulations!

The Awardees will receive a cheque for € 2000 and will be announced on this website, in the Journal of Peptide Science and in the newsletter of the European Peptide Society.

How could I win a future award?

Every research article published in Journal of Peptide Science in 2008 and 2009 will be on the list for the 2010 Award. The Editors will choose the Winner based on the number of citations, on the number of downloads and on editorial criteria.

How do I participate?

The Award is for Full Papers published within the Journal of Peptide Science. Once your submitted article is accepted, it participates automatically in the competition. Each article will stay for two years in the competition and has therefore two chances to win the Award.

How is the award selected?

At the end of August each year a shortlist of 10 articles will be prepared based on the highest number of citations and downloads from all Full Papers published in the two previous calendar years. Each member of the Editorial Board will then choose from this shortlist their three preferred publications and the Full Paper with the highest number of nominations will be the Award Winner.

General Rules

One article can only win the Award once. The Award will be sent to the corresponding author. Publications from the research groups of the Editorial Board will be excluded from the Award. The decision of the Board is final and there will be no correspondence about the Award. The Awardee will be addressed directly, and the Award will be announced in Journal of Peptide Science, on this website, and also through other media if appropriate.
