The 2026 Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides once again brings together leading scientists from academia and pharma and biotech industries to present most advanced studies in peptide science.

After the first edition in 1988, the 2026 workshop, 36 years from the beginning, will be the 19th edition of this internationally well-known meeting and is entitled “The World of Peptides: A Never-Ending Tale”

The workshop is scheduled on June 25th – 27th 2026 and will be held in Napoli (Italy) at the Centro Congressi of University of Naples “Federico II”. In the extraordinary scenery of the gulf of Naples we will share all the latest developments and future directions of peptide science and relevant applications of peptides in life-science. Colleagues and top scientists from all around the world will present their latest results on innovative areas of peptide research.

The workshop starts in the morning of Thursday June 25th; six sessions with plenary lectures, key notes and oral presentations and two poster sessions are scheduled.
A session is scheduled to give the opportunity to companies developing peptide therapeutics and related technologies to present their perspectives on the current and future strategies; while another session will be dedicated to contributes from young scientists.

The focus of the 19th edition of the workshop foresees the emerging and challenging developments of peptides in many fields such as Drug Developments, Peptides and AI, Chemical Biology, Immunology, Antimicrobial Activity, Diagnostic and therapeutic applications, Peptide mimetics, Chemical Ligation and Bioconjugation, Folding and Aggregation.

Contributions concerning experimental and theoretical aspects in these topics are encouraged.
