It is our pleasure to welcome you to Leiden for the 27th edition of the Dutch Peptide Symposium – over a quarter century of celebrating peptide research in the Netherlands!

The venue on 21st of April 2023 will be Scheltema in Leiden. Scheltema is a venue beautifully located next to the canals of Leiden. It offers a perfect base for exploring the historic centre with its cosy cafes, international vibes and rich cultural heritage.

This meeting intends to cover the various aspects of peptide-, protein chemistry as well as drug discovery and development, pharmacology, and structure-activity relationships. It will also be a great opportunity for PhD students and young scientists to learn about the many aspects of peptide research, and to discuss about peptide chemistry and biology with experienced researchers.

We are currently working on creating an attractive program, with plenary lectures by invited speakers covering different peptide research and development areas and a series of opportunities for well selected presentations by the Scientific Committee to respond to participant expectations from such a conference.

Although the full program is still in preparation, we are confident that the Dutch Peptide Symposium 2023 will have a line-up of excellent speakers covering various aspects of peptide & protein chemistry as well as peptide drug discovery and development. There will be ample possibilities for poster presentations and we highly encourage you to share your scientific work and results with international attendees.
