The 6th Chemical Protein Synthesis (CPS) meeting will be held in St. Augustine, Florida, from June 16-19 (just prior to the American Peptide Symposium in nearby Orlando).  A flyer describing the meeting can be downloaded from here.

The biennial CPS Meeting is an international gathering of scientists with interests in protein chemistry broadly defined, from synthetic methodology to applications in medicine and materials.  The 2015 Chemical Protein Synthesis meeting has a great list of speakers and an exciting 3 day program of cutting edge science, together with a range of activities to promote informal interactions. Details can be found here.

Students and post-docs are particularly encouraged to attend. Even if you cannot attend the meeting yourself, please encourage someone from your lab to attend. There is an opportunity to present posters, and 8 poster presentations will be selected for short talks at the meeting. Submission Guidelines and more details can be found here.

The CPS Meeting will be held in the Casa Monica Hotel, in St. Augustine – the oldest continuously inhabited european settlement in North America – founded in 1565. You can find out about the town on the conference website. It should be an enjoyable location for a great meeting. Casa Monica Hotel bookings should be made through the conference website, since room bookings at the special conference rate can only be made through this site. In order to obtain special concessions from this boutique hotel, the CPS conference is obligated to book  a specified number of guest rooms. The financial consequences of not filling the room block would adversely impact this conference and future CPS meetings. Please help us meet these requirements by booking your rooms at the host hotel – and consider extending your stay through Friday night as well!

The deadline for Registration and for Casa Monica Hotel bookings at the special conference rate is 16th May 2015.

Please feel free to share the 6th CPS Meeting flyer itself and the information it contains with others, in your own research group and beyond. We need to get the word out about this exciting meeting to as many people as possible. The Chemical Protein Synthesis Meeting is an official satellite of the American Peptide Symposium that will be held immediately following, June 20-25, in Orlando, Florida (St. Augustine is a ~90 min drive).
